Project: Public accountability: a new paradigm for subject-ruler relationships in Europe (13th-17th century)

María Ángeles Martín Romera is a medieval historian working as a lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid and she is currently at the Frühe Neuzeit department of the LMU with an Alexander von Humboldt for experienced researchers fellowship.
In 2021 she returned to the Complutense (where she completed her PhD in 2012) through the excellence program "Ramón y Cajal". Before then, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Ludwig Maximilians-University Munich (2013-2018) and later a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at University College London (2018-2020).
